Studio: Antwerp

Our studio took a trip to Antwerp, driven by our admiration for Belgian designers and architects, including Axel Vervoordt, Vincent Van Dusyen, and Dieter Vander Velpen. They provide us with inspiration for several of our projects.

As a studio, we love to travel and see the projects that inspire us in person. This way, we can better understand the atmosphere, materials, and details that make such projects impactful. One of Velpen's projects was Stable, a dining experience that focuses on honest ingredients in a dark yet sensorial environment. The space has raw traces of the past, referencing the building's history as a stable for the Manor House. We found the space rich in mood and materials that resonate with our own 'refined rawness' ethos.

We visited the timeless St.Vincents, an interior furniture and lighting dealer who always provides inspiration in the form of contemporary collectable designer pieces.
